Hello!  My name is Crista Poser…recently known as Crista Beattie.  I just got married this last August to the high school Math teacher in our district, Heath Poser!  We love being able to teach together!  We live here in beautiful Philipsburg with Heath’s (and my new step kidsJ) son, Dayton and daughter, Devyn.  We enjoy all the great outdoor activities that our area has to offer!  Heath and I also enjoy following the kids in their sporting events across the state.

I am just beginning my 11^th year of teaching, 9 of which have been spent in Philipsburg.  I started my career in Midland, Texas, which is where I spent the 2007-2008 school year during my leave of absence from the Philipsburg Schools.  During the school year, I was fortunate enough to teach my youngest niece, Leia!  It was a great year with family and friends, but I’m happy to be back in my hometown!

I am blessed with a very loving family!  My twin, Carla, and her husband; my brother, Ken and his family, and my parents all live in Texas.  My brother, Steve and his family live in Arizona.  They are all far away in distance, but close to my heart! I’m looking forward to the school year in kindergarten and at Philipsburg Elementary!
